So, who am I?
I studied Psychology at Leiden University and got my master’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I work as a therapist to help people heal their relationships with their bodies. I have been running my Instagram account (@realistic.body.therapist) for more than 2 years now. I am committed to making therapy accessible to the masses through the use of social media.
I have been trained in Schema Therapy under the guidelines of the International Society of Schema Therapy (ISST) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) according to the standards of Beck Institute. I am working under the supervision of an experienced therapist.
Learning is a never-ending process so I am always looking out for opportunities to improve myself. I also follow the literature on a regular basis to keep myself up-to-date.
I am also collaborating with AntiLoneliness, a company that specializes in mental health services and with a strong mission to support the well-being of the community. AntiLoneliness offers therapy and counseling sessions (face-to-face or online, individual, couple, and family), psychoeducational workshops for professionals and individuals, and therapeutic groups, to those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, transition, expat life, relationship issues, unhappiness, loneliness.
